El Paso is known for having a variety of local festivals and music events, especially during the summer and fall months. Festivals can be a great way to get out of the house and spend your weekend. Here is a look at some of the upcoming events in August and September that you won’t want to miss.

Annual St. Nicholas Greek Food Festival

The Annual St. Nicholas Greek Food Festival takes place this year from August 21^st – August 23^rd. This free admission event is a fun filled weekend for celebrating Greek culture. All weekend long you can check out live music, dancing, vendors and homemade Greek foods.

El Paso Corn Festival

The El Paso Corn Festival takes place each year at the El Paso Public Library Memorial Park. The three day event this year is from September 10^th – September 12^th. Event highlights include a weekend carnival, a parade, live entertainment, vendors and food. The theme for this year’s corn festival is back to the future. Armbands for the carnival will be available. The pre sale price is $15.00 and gate price is $20.00 for both Thursday and Friday night. Saturday’s cost is $25.00.

Sun City Music Festival

The Sun City Music Festival takes place this year on Saturday September 5^th and Sunday September 6^th. This year will be better than ever. Great musicians and entertainers are already lined up including Armin Van Buuren and Hardwell. Tickets and hotel packages are currently on sale and discounts are available when you purchase both together.
