When To Expect a Warrant

A warrant may be issued for your arrest if you don’t appear before a judge on a scheduled date listed on your citation. The judge may also issue a warrant if you do not comply with the stipulations of a ruling, such as taking a required class, paying fines and fees, or completing community service.

If you fall behind on paying warrant fees and warrant commitments, the city will send you to a collections agency. Once that happens, the collection agency will contact you and report the collections to the credit bureau agencies.
