The 2015 Kia Soul was given perfect scores for crashworthiness in all categories from the IIHS, with the dummies indicating a low risk of any significant injuries in a crash of that severity. The roof has excellent strength, being able to withhold a force of at least 4 times the vehicles weight before the test plate crushed the roof by 5 inches. The seats and the heads restraints are excellent.
Kia Optima
The 2015 Kia Optima was given perfect scores for moderate overlap front crash test, side crash test, roof strength, and head restraints and seats from the IIHS. The dummies all indicated a low risk of any significant injuries in a crash of that severity. The roof strength measured up to be about the same as the Soul. The seats and the heads restraints are excellent.
Kia Sedona
The 2015 Kia Sedona was given perfect scores for crashworthiness in all categories from the IIHS, with the dummies indicating a low risk of any significant injuries in a crash of that severity.
