What's New for 2027 Kia Models: The All-New Telluride and Seltos, the EV3 and More Hybrids
The 2027 Kia lineup has real news. The Telluride is all-new and adds its first-ever hybrid, the Seltos is redesigned and larger, and the new EV3 is Kia's most affordable electric vehicle. The Sportage Hybrid adds front-wheel drive, the Niro goes hybrid-only with refreshed styling, and the Carnival gets new second-row seating. Here is what's new, what carries over, and how to see it in El Paso.
Everything below comes from Kia America announcements as of October 30, 2026, with a few details from trade summaries. Not every model has arrived at the same time. We don't list prices here. Our inventory pages and specials show current pricing, and our team can help with financing, leasing and trade-ins.
What's new for Kia SUVs?
- Telluride: all-new for 2027, with a wheelbase 2.7 inches longer, more cargo space, a front-row center airbag among its 10 standard airbags, and a quieter cabin. A new X-Pro adds wider all-terrain tires, an electronic limited-slip differential, a multi-terrain AWD mode and 9.1 inches of ground clearance. The gas Telluride is available now, and the first-ever Telluride Hybrid has a Kia-estimated up to 35 mpg combined and a 600-mile range.
- Seltos: fully redesigned and larger, with flush door handles, an available panoramic sunroof, available Surround View Monitor and Kia's latest infotainment with over-the-air updates. The 2.0L and turbo 1.6L engines carry over, and a new hybrid with Kia's first e-AWD on a hybrid SUV follows the gas model.
- Sportage and Sportage Hybrid: the hybrid adds front-wheel drive on the S and EX trims for a more accessible entry point and a new Technology Package on the X-Line. The plug-in hybrid returns unchanged.
- Sorento: changes are minimal. Black Jade Green replaces Jungle Green.
Features vary by trim and arrive at different times. Ask us what's on the lot. Fuel economy and range figures are Kia estimates.

It has a native NACS charging port, available vehicle-to-load capability, and DC fast charging from 10% to 80% in as little as 29 minutes.
- Niro: the 2027 Niro is hybrid-only, with refreshed styling, expanded connected technology, a new S trim alongside the LX, EX and SX and a combined 139 horsepower. Trade reports say the Niro EV is discontinued for 2027.
